NEW COVID-19 OFFICE POLICY
As an update to the growing concerns regarding Corona Virus (COVID-19), we would like to inform you of the steps we are taking to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff when visiting THOCPA.
We are asking the following of patients:
If you, members of your household, or recent contacts have had a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or other respiratory symptoms please do not come into the office. Please call to arrange a reschedule.
If you have traveled in the past two weeks to a foreign country, please do not come into the office. Please call to arrange a reschedule.
As always, if you would like to avoid time in the waiting room, you may print and complete the necessary paperwork from our website and bring photocopies of your driver’s license and both sides of your insurance card.
We are also asking patients to avoid bringing guests or children with them to their appointments, except in cases where it is necessary to bring a caregiver.
Efforts of our staff:
After each patient, we are continuing to disinfect all equipment and surfaces, as we normally would. Additionally, we are wiping down all hard surfaces – all door knobs, surfaces at the front desk, lobby, and restrooms frequently throughout the day.
None of our staff has recently traveled to any high-risk areas and have no respiratory symptoms or fever. All medical staff members are hand washing between patients and front desk staff are hand washing and using hand sanitizer.
If a THOCPA employee was to come in contact with someone with symptoms, or develop any symptom themselves, they are directed to stay home.
